This special packaging is intended to reduce the chance of chocolate melting in transit, but is not a guarantee.
For use with EXPRESS delivery. Stays cold approx. 18 - 24 hours.
Due to postage times if EXPRESS delivery is not selected we cannot guarantee that chocolate will arrive in good condition.
Also, we do not ship any order with the ice pack included on a Friday to avoid the parcel sitting in warehouses over the weekend.
We have chosen these ice packs and liner to help avoid the waste of chocolate melting due to the warm Australian weather. We aim to reduce unnecessary food waste and extra carbon miles when having to re-send goods.
Although these packaging materials do contain plastic we have been careful to select options that are reusable, durable, and ultimately recyclable via REDCycle.
The ice pack in particular you can use again and again for work and school lunches.
Gel Ice Pack
Made from a water based gel refrigerant which is sealed in a heavy duty 100% Recyclable LDPE strong plastic outer tubing. Filled with a non-toxic gel mix, reusable and long lasting. At the end of its life, the outer plastic is recyclable at any REDcycle bin located in supermarkets across Australia.
Thermal Carton Liners
Made of an insulating metalised polyester bubble material designed specifically to insulate heat sensitive goods whilst in transport. The metalized layer (EnviroTherm) has been manufactured utilising up to 20% recycled content and is 100% recyclable at any REDcycle bin located in supermarkets across Australia.

Produce Bag
To absorb any condensation during transit we have wrapped the ice pack in a Biome Organic Cotton Multi-Purpose Produce Bag. They are great to use for produce when shopping, as a laundry bag and many other things.
